X Media Vault is a Chrome extension that helps users save publicly available images, videos, and GIFs from X/Twitter posts to their local device.

If Chrome Sync is enabled in your browser, Chrome may sync extension settings according to your Chrome account settings. We do not control Chrome Sync.

4. How Permissions Are Used

This permission is used only to save media files selected by the user through Chrome’s native download system.

These permissions allow the extension to detect media in public posts while you browse X/Twitter and inject the “Save Media” button.

These are X/Twitter media CDN domains. The extension uses them only to save images and videos directly to your local device.

5. Media Processing

Media files are downloaded directly from X/Twitter’s media domains to your device through Chrome’s download system.

X Media Vault does not upload, proxy, re-host, cache, or transmit media files to any server operated by us.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose user data to third parties.

The extension does not use advertising networks, analytics providers, or tracking services.

7. Third-Party Services

X Media Vault does not communicate with third-party services outside of the X/Twitter pages and media domains required for its core function.

8. Children’s Privacy

X Media Vault is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if the extension’s functionality changes. The “Last updated” date will be updated when changes are made.
